Jordan submitted a video performance of the required piece, Concerto in One Movement, by Lebedev, and Jordan’s performance was selected the winner.  Jordan’s winning video was shown as part of the ATW 2021 virtual event on April 3rd.

Jason Wolfe, senior tenor trombonist from the Woodlands, TX, was one of 3 finalists in the National Classical Tenor Trombone Solo Competition for ages 19-23.

Dylan Halliday, freshman bass trombonist from Paris, TX, was one of 3 finalists in the National Classical Bass Trombone Solo Competition for ages 18 and under.

Special thanks to amazing pianist, Michael Schneider, for collaborating with all 3 students on their competition recordings.

It was very exciting to have 3 OSU students recognized in the competition, and congratulations to Jordan, Jason and Dylan.
