Exciting News for Jason Wolfe and Jordan Davenport

Spring 2021 OSU Trombone Studio graduating seniors Jason Wolfe and Jordan Davenport have incredibly exciting plans for next year.

Jason Wolfe has been awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to study with Gyorgy Gyivicsan at the prestigious Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, Hungary, where he will pursue his masters degree.  Being selected a Fulbright Scholar is the end of a very long audition and application process, and very few students earn this opportunity.

Jordan Davenport has been awarded a scholarship to pursue his MM in bass trombone performance at the Manhattan School of Music, where his primary teacher will be George Curran, bass trombonist of the New York Philharmonic.

Congratulations to Jason and Jordan on these amazing opportunities!
