Jordan Davenport Selected for Southeast Trombone Symposium

Bass Trombonist Jordan Davenport has been accepted into the 2019 Southeast Trombone Symposium Participant Class. The STS will take place from June 18th-23rd at Schwob School of Music at Columbus State University. The Participant Class is limited to 32 students who have the opportunity to work with faculty members Bradley Palmer (CSU), George Curran (New York Philharmonic), Colin Williams (New York Philharmonic) and Nathan Zgonc (Atlanta Symphony). Members of the Participant Class are competition eligible and Jordan has advanced to the semifinal round of the Excerpts Competition and will participate in the Solo Competition also.

Jordan is a junior bass trombone performance major from Flower Mound, Texas. He recently won Second Prize in the Ladies Music Club of Oklahoma City Brass Solo Competition. Jordan is a member of the OSU Symphony Orchestra and the OSU Symphonic Band.
