Two Trombone Studio Recitals in January

There will be recitals by 2 OSU Trombone Studio members on January 30th, 2022. Both recitals will take place in the McKnight Recital Hall, and both will feature amazing collaborative pianist, Michael Schneider.
First up will be Elizabeth Toles, who will perform at noon on the 30th. Elizabeth’s program is Allegro Maestoso by Jan Koetsier, Ordner Seg by Oystein Baadsvik, Concert Allegro by Alexey Lebedev, Concerto for Bass Trombone by Christopher Brubeck, and Colores by Steven Verhelst. Elizabeth will be joined by trombone studio members Jonathan Hanna, Ethan Warren, Colton Wilson, Ethan Do, Corey Burton, Tanner Gardner, Benjamin Grief and Dylan Halliday for the performance of Colores.
Corey Burton will take the stage of the McKnight Recital Hall at 2:30 on the 30th. Corey will perform all movements of Concerto for Trombone by Launy Grondahl, Devil’s Waltz by Steven Verhelst, all movements of Arrows of Time by Richard Peaslee, and La Muerte Del Angel by Astor Piazzolla. Corey will be joined by Benjamin Grief on the Verhelst, and by Jonathan Hanna, Benjamin Grief and Dylan Halliday on the Piazzolla.
